Based in London, this is a very rare opportunity for a seasoned trust practitioner to join the trust team of this premier financial services organisation that boasts an enviable client base of HNW/UHNW individuals and families.

Working in a close knit team and supported by more junior trust professionals, you will relish the opportunity to undertake a broad multifaceted role that encompasses trust (including charitable trusts) and estate administration. Your technical knowledge in relation to general UK legal and taxation principles of trust and estate administration will be taken as a given. What will set you apart from your peer group is a deep understanding and keen sense of the high net worth mindset.

This is not a back office role. First class communication skills and a natural client facing demeanour are essential as is the ability to command the trust and confidence of clients and colleagues. Liaising with a wide spectrum of colleagues internally, trustees, beneficiaries, external advisers and regulatory bodies, you will naturally take pride in your ability to deliver a second to none service to a demanding audience.

Although not a pre-requisite, ideally candidates will be STEP qualified with another relevant qualification such ATT/CTA/ACA (or equivalent). He/she will possess the necessary level of experience to deal with a broad gamut of matters and enjoy mentoring other members of the team as well as working autonomously.

Viable candidates could be a trust professional with a demonstrable track record of achievement at an accountancy practice or law firm and galvanised by an opportunity to progress their career beyond these boundaries. Alternatively, he/she may have acquired his/her experience with a family office, financial services organisation, trust company or other closely aligned business.
