This is a unique family office job for a single family office based in the West End (London) that will appeal to an astute trust professional who is looking for a role of substance, credibility and reach. Reporting to the head of the family office, this individual will assume day-to-day responsibility for the administration and governance of the family’s complex trusts, companies and foundations with a wide variety of asset classes. Whilst the majority of the structures are onshore, there are a small number of offshore trusts based in the Channel Islands.

The successful individual will be STEP/ATT/CTA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience of dealing  with a range of ad hoc projects as well as marshalling key external advisors such as lawyers, offshore trustees, private bankers, etc. You will be genuinely excited by your subject matter, solving problems and adept at juggling a variety of tasks at any one time.

A strong understanding of UK tax compliance and planning (i.e. UK tax returns, R185 forms, etc) is crucial. It is likely that you will have acquired your experience in an independent trust company, accountancy firm, law firm, private bank or another family office. As the successful individual will deal direct with the Principal as well as other family members,  first rate communication skills will be taken as a given.
