This is a very rare opportunity for a talented private client solicitor to join this well established single family office based in central London and take their career in a different direction.

Working with a close-knit team of supportive colleagues both domestically and internationally, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding service to a number of family members based in the UK.

To undertake this role, you will possess relevant private client experience covering matters such as estate/succession planning, taxation (e.g. inheritance tax, capital gains, etc), family legal advice and private wealth management.   The breadth of this role is unrivalled and reflects the life cycle of family members with complex interests often with a cross-border context.

This is not a back-office role – you will enjoy being visible from day one and an integral part of a team that consistently strives for excellence in everything it does. With a natural affinity for people, you will thrive in an environment where you will interact with family members on a daily basis and develop these relationships over the long term.

You will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of around 4-5 years’ post-qualification experience acquired in practice or a closely aligned organisation such as another family office. Please note that candidates outside this PQE range will also be considered.

Personal characteristics are equally important. Your emotional intelligence and first-class communication skills will set you apart from your peers. You will have the ability to command the trust and confidence of family members allied with an innate skill that allows you to distil complex legal issues into succinct, jargon-free language.
