Trust Manager (Contract)
This is a six month contract for a trust practitioner to join the trust team of this professional services organisation in London that boasts an enviable client base of HNW/UHNW individuals and families.
Working in a close knit team, you will relish the opportunity to undertake a broad role that encompasses trust and estate administration. Specific tasks will include:-
-The completion of self-assessment tax returns and HMRC returns for inheritance tax purposes;
-Preparation and completion of trust & estate accounts;
-The administration of charitable trusts including the payment of grants, as well as the preparation and audit of annual accounts.
-Attending meetings with clients where appropriate;
-Administrative and project work as delegated by Head of Department.
You will possess sound technical knowledge in relation to general UK legal and taxation principles of trust and estate administration. Knowledge of CCH would be advantageous. Good communication skills and a natural client facing demeanour would be helpful as is the ability to command the trust and confidence of clients and colleagues. Professional qualification(s) desirable (e.g. ATT/CTA/ACCA/ACA/STEP) or part qualified or qualified by experience.
The working week will follow government guidelines, but it is envisaged that it would be a hybrid model combining working from home and office (London) with one or two days a week in the office.
